Metta Charity Run 2012
The Metta Charity Run is an annual community event organised by the Metta Welfare Association to raise funds for the development and enrichment of its disability, medical, special education and early intervention programmes in aid of some 1,000 beneficiaries from various races and religions.

Great Eastern Women’s Run
The Great Eastern Women’s Run, commissioned by Great Eastern and organised by HiVelocity Events, is a run for every woman. The race features 5 km, 10 km as well as 21 km race distances making the run accessible to female runners of all levels. This will be the first women-only half marathon in the region.
Targeting to attract more than 15,000 participants, the Run will be flagged-off at the The Float@Marina Bay. The race route will take runners past Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, Merlion Park, Esplanade, Singapore Flyer, F1 Pit Building, the future Sports Hub and end back at the The Float@Marina Bay. National Runway Cycling & Skating
Currently into its 16th year, the National Runway Cycling & Skating is an annual event where the usually out-of-bounds Paya Lebar Air Base is cleared and closed for one day to provide NSmen, their families and members of the public with the unique experience and thrill of cycling and skating on the runway.
2012 is going to be a year of celebrations for both SAFRA and the RSAF/SAF. With SAFRA celebrating its 40th anniversary, and the RSAF/SAF celebrating 45 years of National Service, organisers of the NRWCS are planning several activities to engage and excite participants.
